アルミニウムを用いた精密鋳造技法を探求する現代美術家、髙橋賢悟（たかはしけんご）

伝統的な技術と革新的な思想が融合した彼の作品は、鑑賞者の「知覚する力」に深く問いかけます。

頭蓋骨をモチーフにしているのは「初めて死者に花を手向けたのはネアンデルタール人」という説に基づいています。

それは、花を手向ける行為の根底に、命の尊厳と思いやりという、人類の根源的な感情が存在することを示唆しているのです。

Kengo Takahashi, a contemporary artist exploring the sophisticated technique of precision casting using aluminum.

His works, which fuse traditional craftsmanship with innovative thought, deeply question the viewer’s “power of perception.”

The motif of the skull is based on the theory that Neanderthals were the first to offer flowers to the dead.

This suggests that the fundamental human emotions of the dignity of life and compassion exist at the root of the act of offering flowers.

命の儚さと永遠「花鋳込（はないこみ）」の美学

髙橋氏の代表的な技法であり、彼独自の世界観を凝縮した「花鋳込（はないこみ）」です。

「花鋳込」は、本物の生花を原形として鋳型を制作し、金属を流し込むことで、花を表現する独自の鋳造技法です。

この過程で生花は焼失し、その命の痕跡が、そのまま金属に置き換えられます。

一瞬で枯れてしまう花が、不朽の素材として生まれ変わるという劇的な対比を生み出します。

The Aesthetics of Ephemerality and Eternity: “Hana-Ikomi” (Flower Casting)

“Hana-Ikomi” is Takahashi’s representative technique, condensing his unique worldview.

“Hana-Ikomi” is an original casting technique that expresses flowers by creating a mold using real fresh flowers as the original form, and then pouring molten metal into it.

In this process, the fresh flowers are burnt away, and the trace of their life is directly replaced by the metal.

This creates a dramatic contrast: a flower that withers in an instant is reborn as an incorruptible/immortal material.

旧約聖書のアダムとイヴをモチーフに、二人が口にした禁断の果実を

「真実の愛」を花言葉に持つ、勿忘草の花でかたどられた作品です。

それは、命の痕跡を金属という不朽の記憶として残す、詩的な試みです。

This work takes the motif of Adam and Eve from the Old Testament, depicting the skulls of a modern man and woman and the forbidden fruit they ate, all formed by the flowers of the Forget-Me-Not, which symbolizes “true love.”

It is a poetic endeavor that engraves the traces of life onto the future as an immortal memory in metal.
